Kate Bosomworth

Kate is Managing Partner at Speed Communications, leading the Sports & Fitness Division. Kate has worked in and around sport for over 15 years, developing strategic PR and sponsorship activation programmes for global sports brands, a host of major sporting events and rights holders. During this time Kate has worked with clients that include Unilever, Adidas, GSK, The North Face, Technogym, The European Tour - The 2010 Ryder Cup and three 2012 Olympic sponsor clients.

Kate brings an energetic, no-nonsense, commercial and creative approach to the agency and clients alike.Kate has been a Board Member of Sport England since 2013 and during this time has been heavily involved in the development and launch of This Girl Can.

Kate is passionate about sports participation and is a keen sports woman herself.

Mark Ackred

Mark Ackred, BA (Hons) PgDL Barrister-at-Law, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of 'thinkIS'. Before forming 'think IS' he qualified as a Barrister in 2002, during the past eight years before forming a company called think investment solutions limited, he held Business Development and Management roles in three key derivatives organisations in the UK.

The last position held being Head of UK Partners at a Company called CMC Markets, part owned by Goldman Sachs.

Chris is a communications and stakeholder engagement professional. Having set up his own business and worked for a number of PR & Marketing agencies, Chris brings his experience in social change communications and passion for grassroots sport to Disability Sports Coach.

A firm believer in the social and personal benefits that sporting involvement brings to young people and communities, Chris is determined to increase the opportunities available to all those wishing to participate in sport across the country.

James McIlwraith

James McIlwraith

James is the joint Managing Director for a start up investor relations business. Prior to this venture, James had a long and established career within mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on business development.

James has worked with Disability Sports Coach for 7 years, and advises on finances, sales and marketing. James is also a passionate musician and is published by the likes of Universal.
