Our 11 Clubs next week will celebrate Christmas to conclude what has been the most successful term yet. Since mid-September the Clubs have welcomed 102 new participants and in recent weeks it is the most active we have seen our participants, old and new.

The Community Clubs will take part in mini competitions in the sports they’ve been focussing on this term. The competition will end with some Christmas games, treats and awards. Each Club will be giving out a new ‘Community Club Champ’ award trophy.

This trophy will be given out on a monthly basis as recognition of those who contribute most to the Clubs and show sporting excellence. Six Jack Petchey awards for young achievers will also be given out at the Club Christmas finales. A full article on this will appear post the awards.

So, get your best Christmas jumpers and hats out and make sure you don’t miss the Christmas fun at your last session of 2015. All these sessions will take place week commencing 14th December. The then will be 2 weeks holiday prior we return in January.

For additional details of these sessions, please don’t hesitate to contact Emma Cranston (Club Development Officer): emma@disabilitysportscoach.co.uk or 02070210973.
