Chris is a communications and stakeholder engagement professional. Having set up his own business and worked for a number of PR & Marketing agencies, Chris brings his experience in social change communications and passion for grassroots sport to Disability Sports Coach.

A firm believer in the social and personal benefits that sporting involvement brings to young people and communities, Chris is determined to increase the opportunities available to all those wishing to participate in sport across the country.

James is the joint Managing Director for a start up investor relations business. Prior to this venture, James had a long and established career within mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on business development.

James has worked with Disability Sports Coach for 7 years, and advises on finances, sales and marketing. James is also a passionate musician and is published by the likes of Universal.

Kate Grey

Kate Grey

Sport & Disability

Kate represented Great Britain for 10 years competing at European and World Championships, and the highlight of her career; the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games.

Since retiring from swimming she now works across the country as an Athlete Mentor in schools and communities, as well as a Broadcaster for the BBC.

Kate has supported and been involved with DSC for a couple of years and has always really impressed by what they do and the difference they make to so many disabled peoples lives. So to be apart of the DSC board is an exciting opportunity for Kate, to help the charity grow and develop in new areas and with new ideas. This will be her first experience as a board member and she feel it suits her passions and ambitions of improving disabled people’s lives through the power of sport and physical activity.

Treasurer & Accountancy

Chris is a chartered accountant and has been working in the financial services industry since 2001 both as an external and internal auditor.

Married with three children, Chris is passionate about sport having been involved as a player and supporter throughout his life. He is a strong believer in the joy and benefits that it can bring to all and is keen to help Disability Sports Coach improve lives by providing people with access to sport where they otherwise would not have the opportunity.
