Disability Sports Coach are currently recruiting for a Workforce Officer to grow our sports coaching workforce and expand the reach of our delivery services to help more disabled people enjoy the benefits of being active. This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-growing team to help deliver our ambitious plans to reach more disabled people in London.
Disability Sports Coach is an award-winning charity which uses the power of sport and physical activity to enhance the lives of disabled people in London.
We do this by delivering a network of inclusive Community Clubs across London, delivering inclusive coaching at schools and colleges, and training organisations to adapt activities for all. Our work empowers disabled adults and children to enjoy happier, healthier lives by providing life-changing opportunities to enjoy regular sport and physical activity.
Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, development, retention and administration of the Charity’s Coaching, Volunteer and Tutor workforce. The ideal candidate will have an interest in coaching and experience of managing projects within a sports environment.
As we are a small charity, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of disabled people.
Salary: £22,000 - £26,000pa dependent on experience
City: London / Remote Working
Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours). There will be alternative working patterns throughout the year, and you will be required to vary your working days accordingly.
