At the end of February, Disability Sports Coach was featured in a piece in The Metro newspaper's Inside Grassroots Sports special.

The special focussed on charitable projects supported by funds raised through players of the National Lottery, which has provided over £800 million to organisations tackling post-COVID inequalities.

We were delighted to be included in the supplement, explaining how our work has helped to keep the disabled community connected and active through sport.

In our feature, we hear from member Sam and his mum Ros on how our online sport sessions have kept him physically and mentally fit, as well as spotlighting fellow member Ifeoma, who has made huge strides in confidence, even taking part in the Vitality Virtual 10k last year.

It's brilliant to be getting the word out about how our Active At Home programme is empowering disabled people and sharing the many benefits of sport with individuals across London and beyond.
