Last week was February half term, and we celebrated with a very special online programme of inclusive sports activities and fun creative experiences. It was a great week, and we really enjoyed seeing so many of you joining in - both familiar faces and a few new ones, too!

Over the course of the week, we hosted 11 online sessions and had 55 attendees get involved with everything from strength training to baking. Here are a few of our highlights...

On Tuesday afternoon, we began the half term programme with an interactive music session with Flora. We heard some lovely music, and even played along as a DIY rhythm section with household objects!

Strength training

On Wednesday afternoon, we tried something new with a strength training session! We tried some exercises to build core strength and balance, which were all adaptable to different requirements.

Later on Wednesday was one of our most popular activities - dance! This was a really fun session where we all just got moving to some of our favourite tunes to lift our mid-week moods!

At Thursday lunchtime, we tried out some inclusive football. This was a fun and technical session, learning some ball skills and coordination, which was a great way to get the brain working for the day!

Next up was baking! We got together to make some flapjacks, with members adding their own flavours and choosing everything from ginger to Nutella! There were some fantastic final bakes, but Grace was crowned the star baker!

Finally, we finished the week off with a multisports session. We tried out lots of different exercises, challenges and activities together in a fun sporting extravaganza!

Thank you all for joining in our half term programme!
