During this time, we are aware of the struggles to keep being motivated to stay active and a part of the community. Disability Sports Coach want to help you with keeping on top of this!

DSC Live

Please continue to join our DSC Live sessions from 4.30-5.00pm every Tuesday and Thursday.

This week on Tuesday, creative Kemy will be delivering a fun aerobics session and on Thursday, we have the ever-popular dance with Sophie (a swap from last week!)

Live Sessions Impact

Below is new recruit Sam taking part in a Disability Sports Coach Live session.

Sam says “I love Disability Sports Coach’s online sessions. They are helping to keep me fit, healthy and connected with people.”

His mother agrees, commenting that, “the coaches are all fantastic and really encourage the young people to try out different exercises. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.”

New Member of Staff

Last month, Disability Sports Coach welcomed a new member of the team. Emma Thomas joined DSC in May as Marketing and Communications Officer, to help boost the profile of our work in supporting disabled people to experience the benefits of being active.

A keen rock climber and hiker - in 2017, Emma completed a 600-mile trek across the Pyrenees Mountains to raise money for Kidney Research UK. She is passionate about representation and accessibility in the outdoors, social and environmental justice, mental health, and a range of other topics.

Emma is excited to be working with Disability Sports Coach in raising awareness of disability sports and helping to make sport and activity equitable for all.

Friday Quiz

Last week Amelia pipped Jay and Ritha to be crowned the quiz winner. Who will win this week!?

To reiterate again, Our Friday quiz is now open to all DSC members, not just volunteers!

Social Saturdays

This your opportunity to register for DSC’s private member Video chat. Each Saturday 2.30pm.

Note: you must pre-register for this. Max 20 members

All you need is a mobile device with a camera and internet.

WEEK 14 - Don't forget about Social Saturday, with this week's session taking place on Saturday 27th June at 2:30pm.

The sessions offer Community Club members to have catch up with friends.
