Week 32 - Challenges, Videos and Activities

During this time, we are aware of the struggles to keep being motivated to stay active and a part of the community. Disability Sports Coach want to help you with keeping on top of this!

Below are the latest updates of our online and offline activities.

October Half-Term Programme

This half term we are delighted to present to you both face-to-face and online activities. We will run Activities from Wednesday 28th to Friday 30th October.

This week is half-term so our usual Community Club and online sessions will not be running.

However, please join us for the following online half-term sessions, including dance with Coach Sophie.

Online Sessions

Wednesday 28th October

  • 11:00-11:45am - Multi-sports with Debbie
  • 2:30-3:15pm - Yoga with Michelle
  • 4:30-5:15pm - Dance with Sophie

Friday 30th October:

  • 2:30-3:15pm - Dance with Krystal
  • 4:00-4:45pm - Quiz with a Twist!

To retrieve your Zoom code please email clubs@disablitysportscoach.co.uk. It is the same code for all sessions.

Face to Face delivery

It’s not too late to book in to our multi-sports session on Thursday 29th October at Brixton Recreation Centre from 2-4pm. Full information here.

The sessions will take place with Coach Debbie and Emma. Please email clubs@disabilitysportscoach.co.uk to book your place.

Please note: there is a maximum of 10 participants per session.

Weekly Challenge

This week’s challenge is to dance to your favourite song every day! Whether you love hip-hop or a jazzy tune, get moving and have fun! Share photos of your moves with us and let us know – what is your favourite song right now?

Virtual Vitality 10k Next Week!

Next week, we have a team of fundraisers taking on the Vitality Virtual 10k in aid of Disability Sports Coach! Fundraisers across London will be running, jogging and walking 10k in order to raise money for our vital projects supporting disabled people in the UK.

October Coaching Offer

Do you work for an organisation or school that is looking for ways to provide disabled individuals with expert inclusive coaching? We are still running our coaching special offer, so there couldn’t be a better time to get started!

Book 10 weeks of coaching with our expert inclusive sports coaches and you’ll receive 10 free Home Activity Packs to help your attendees stay active during and after the sessions. Our Home Activity Pack is a selection of special equipment, from table tennis bats to balls, that individuals or groups can use to exercise, either in coaching sessions, alone, or along with our Home Activity Programme.
