Week 49 - Challenges, Videos and Activities

During this time, we are aware of the struggles to keep being motivated to stay active and a part of the community. Disability Sports Coach want to help you with keeping on top of this!

Please see below the latest news on our activities and campaigns.

Online sessions

Our usual online session timetable resumes this week. Please note there is a new Zoom code, please email clubs@disabilitysportscoach.co.uk to request it.

New participants should register online using the form on our website: https://disabilitysportscoach.co.uk/community-clubs/live-zoom-sessions/

Hero of the Week

Each week we are recognising the member who most impresses us during our online sessions.

Our next hero of the week is:

Sam Innes

Sam joined DSC through our Home programme last April and has become a popular personality in the group. Sam is a dedicated sportsman and always strives to get the most he can out of every session. This week Sam baked alone for the first time at our online baking session and celebrated turning 21. A big week all round for Sam - happy birthday from us all and keep up the amazing work.

London Youth Games Hockey Challenge

This week’s virtual challenges are hockey. We are proud that Club Lambeth members Louis and Charlie are amongst the challenge setters.

Take a watch of their video below and have a go yourself. We’d love to see your challenges-so why not film and send into us: clubs@disabilitysportscoach.co.uk

You also will win a point for your London borough.

For 8 weeks London Youth Games will set 3 inclusive challenges a week in different sports.

Half-Term Round Up

It was amazing to see so many of you at our half-term programme. We’d love to hear what you enjoyed the most.

Here are just a couple of our highlights:

Flapjack baking followed by dance!

Discovering your musical talents!
