New attendees and Community Club members from South London and beyond joined us on Wednesday 19th February for the February half-term ClubGames

Members from Club Southwark, Club Sutton, Club Wandsworth, and Club Lambeth came together at The Castle Centre for another fantastic ClubGames event. With attendees from as far afield as Club Hillingdon and almost 10 brand new participants, even more disabled people are getting active at our half-term event!

The event was kindly supported by Tesco Bags of Help and hosted at the home of Club Southwark once more.

We had a very busy morning with participants enjoying football, basketball, dance, Polybat and Boccia, all provided by our very own DSC coaches. Every activity was popular with the participants, in particular dance, which was a real hit!

Following the energetic morning session, participants took part in a friendly competition consisting of various relays, plus games of basketball and handball. Following a keen competition between the four teams, Team Elite were our overall winners with 14 points! A big congratulations to all our participants that took part to make it a great competition.

We hope we managed to inspire all our members to take part in more activities and we look forward to seeing more participants in one of our Community Clubs.

If you enjoyed the South ClubGames, make sure you sign up for our ClubGames in the East and West regions during the Easter holidays!
