Last Sunday, a team from DSC ran the Westminster Mile to raise funds for your Summer Festival - with a little help from Mo Farah!
Our charity strives to provide as many specialist sports activities as possible for all disabled people. To make the Summer Festival and our Community Clubs the best they can be we need a little support from you!
Playing their part were our committed team of supporters who took on the Vitality Westminster Mile. Gathering in sunny Green Park, the team keenly set off - with the race started by none other than Mo Farah!
After racing round the route, the team enjoyed an afternoon of activities in the festival - including an attempt at breaking the world record for bench-hopping!

Lauren, our Club Development Manager has something to say: "We know our members love their Community Club and our Summer Festival so that’s why we want to keep it just as good or even better than last year. The Westminster Mile was a great day for all our runners, challenging for a few, so give them the extra boost and show your support. We hope to see more of you in future events!”
