This month we have been encouraging our Community Club members to set their 2020 sporting goals.

Setting new year goals has given our members a chance to reflect on what they want to achieve both in and beyond their club through sport. What is your 2020 sporting goal? Share it on Instagram or Twitter and tag us!

This year the Paralympics are taking place in Tokyo in August. Our volunteer coach Philip, at Tower Hamlets, is an elite wheelchair rugby player and his 2020 goal is, “to continue to train hard to have the chance for Paralympic selection. Also, I would like to do more disability coaching.” On an almost as competitive level, our members at Club Wandsworth’s goal for 2020, “is to beat Club Lambeth in every Derby!”

Take a look below at more of our club members’ 2020 goals, as well as the goal of our CEO Peter Ackred-it’s not about table tennis this time! Remember to share your 2020 sporting goals on social media and tag us:
