We are currently recruiting for a Club Development Manager to oversee the management and development of Disability Sports Coach’s pan-disability multi-sport Community Club programme.

Role Overview

The Community Club programme currently has 11 Community Clubs in 11 London Boroughs. Since 2013, over 650 disabled Londoners have become Community Club members and over 1400 weekly sessions have been delivered. The programme has received several accolades and has been supported by all programme funders and partners including local authorities and leisure providers.

The successful delegate will project manage all 11 Community Clubs, as well as working with the Business Development Manager towards the growth of the programme.

  • Permanent contract (subject to 6-month probationary period)
  • £24,000 - £26,000 per annum
  • 37.5 hours a week, including evenings and weekends
  • Based at Disability Sports Coach Office - House of Sport, 190 Great Dover Street, London, SE1 4YB

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management and development of the Community Club programme, including management of project budgets, partnerships and monitoring
  • Line manage Club Development Officer(s)
  • Manage and deliver 4 pan-disability multi-sport Community Clubs, in line with Community Club Development Model
  • Manage annual consultation with partners, members and parents/carers
  • Manage and deliver Community Club events

Essential criteria

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working within disability sports development and/or club development
  • Minimum of 12 months line management experience
  • NGB Level 2 qualified or equivalent
