Charity of the Year
Nominate us as your Charity of the Year and support one of our local Community Clubs, where you'll see the difference our partnership makes.
There are many challenge events that your company could take part in as a team or view other fundraising ideas which could raise funds, raise awareness of our work and will also help with team building and be fun too.

We know that sport aids health and wellbeing for all individuals and we are proud to support Disability Sports Coach in their mission to create worthwhile sport and physical activity opportunities that have a positive impact on disabled people's lives.
We’re proud to raise money to support activities like the Community Clubs, which mean so much to members."
Peter Ackred, CEO of Disability Sports Coach, said, "We're proud to have such a long-standing partnership with such a committed group who share our values of empowering people through sport.
The money raised by Mi-GSO | PCUBED since 2018 makes a huge difference, helping us reach 100 disabled people every year through our local Community Clubs, our free online activity sessions and by providing packs of specialist equipment during lockdowns. We are also hugely grateful for the invaluable time and skills the team shares with us, helping us deliver more of our life-changing services in the future."
Check out some of the easy ways your team can get involved and make a difference!
If you are holding a Christmas or Summer party, why not include a raffle or auction and donate the funds to us? See if some local organisations like restaurants or gyms can provide some prizes or call our office to see if we have any suitable items that we have had donated.
For all the book worms in your company arrange a book club every 6/8 weeks in the office after work. Everyone who is part of it could pay £5 each to attend and then drinks/snack could be provided at a low price of 50p a glass with all proceeds going to DSC.
A quiz night always goes down well in the office and is a great team building exercise. People can be put into teams and everyone pays £5 to attend. Drinks/snacks again could be provided at 50p a donation.
Why not make a general hobby into a fundraising activity. A mini ‘game’ tournament could be set up in the office. If employees have their own games like Call of Duty or Fifa they could bring these in and have a mini tournament. Again a cost to be charged and drinks/snacks provided.
There are so many big sporting events on during the year and they are so much more fun to watch when you’re in a crowd. Arrange which ever match/event to be shown on a big screen with a charge to watch with again drinks/snacks provided at a very low cost.
If you sometimes experience blue language around the office then set up a fine for each time an obscenity slips out of someone’s mouth. On stressful days more money can be made!
Another easy way to raise funds is to have a dress down or even a glamour up day once every other month where each employee pays £2 to the charity. This could be changed to a set colour each month or in sports clothes/their favourite football club strip.
A sports themed treasure hunt across London. This could be covering all the 11 Boroughs where we have clubs and we could also invite our members to take part. A cost of £10 entry would then go to the Charity.
With the Bake Off still so popular, why not hold your own at work. People could pay £2 to enter a cake then the cakes can also be sold off. A judging committee can be set up to choose the best tasting or best looking cake. You could even have different themes like ‘the cake that looks most like an employee’ or ‘a different sports theme cake’!
Hold a bingo night with a budding bingo caller (hired in or an office employee) who can make up their own number rhymes. Throw in some dinner and drinks and it’s a great evening out with proceeds going to the charity.
